  • They can solve 85% of business problems using Problem Solving Tools and Basic Statistical tools.
  • They typically learn these tools within 2-4 days of training.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Generating basic-level solutions to enhance the effectiveness of processes and operations.
  • Managing the project team and ensuring coordination.
  • Ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.


Green Belt:


Green Belts are project leaders who solve problems using problem-solving tools and advanced statistical tools.


  • They typically learn these tools with 812 days of training.
  • They can solve complex business problems that require optimization beyond 85%, usually within their own departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing datafocused strategies to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Managing teams and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Providing leadership for improving processes within the organization.


Black Belt:


Black Belts are full-time improvement project leaders who are proficient in both Green Belt tools and Statistical tools for product and process development.


  • They typically learn these tools with 2025 days of training.
  • They continuously update their knowledge to meet the needs of a good Black Belt organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing product and process development projects using advanced statistical tools.
  • Training and mentoring Green Belts.
  • Generating innovative solutions to increase the organization‘s competitiveness.
